Rachael Ray in "The Kitchen from Hell"

With the release on msn of Forbes' 2007 list of the most influential stars , I thought an interlude would be justified considering who is on it. Forbes' didn't need to tell anyone that Oprah is the #1 big cheese or that Tom Cruise is in the top ten. What I did find interesting though was that Rachael Ray hit the list at #66. I also was recently informed that she is making roughly $6 mil. a year now. Impressive to say the least for an untrained celeb CHEF!

A few trained celeb chefs have recently referred to her as a "cute marketing bobblehead" understanding a bit about the "a face makes bucks industry" I would have to say I agree. Do I like Rachael Ray? I think she is cute, yes, as well as her down to earth nature, but she also presents at times the idea she believes her jewels are big enough to come in a dump truck! I guess a nonconfident face would be a bad thing though.

It would be most interesting to see Rachael in the kitchen from hell / (Hell's Kitchen TV show) to see how she would fair? A true test of skills and knowledge without advisors. I think some unique colors might come out in this given situation.

I wish Rachael no ill what so ever, yet hey $6 mill a year? "Way to go Rachael!" BUT perhaps if I "Stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night" (TM of Holiday Inns TV commercial) , it might of been me!
